Adam F.D. Morris, CEO
Educated in Finance and Sustainability, Adam directs the Copperblock team as Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for creating the corporate vision, acquisition, and capital investment. Over the last 15 years, Adam has been involved in more than 100 projects and in June of 2019 was recognized as one of Edmonton’s Top 20 Business Leaders. He is also a 4-time nominee of Avenue’s Top 40 Under 40.
Jon Schiedel, COO
With a decade of construction management and operational experience behind him, as Chief Operating Officer, Jon is responsible for the management, operations, and ultimately, completion of all projects. Jon brings integrity, a keen analytical eye, and a love for efficiency to his management of the day-to-day movements of the Copperblock team.
Alex Ballantyne, Site Superintendent
Alex is a graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) carpenter program and has achieved his Red Seal certification. A lifelong learner at heart, Alex bridges his varied apprenticeship experiences, recent technical training, and up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends in bringing Copperblock’s shipping container builds to reality.
Riley Main, Site Superintendent
Riley has spent the last 15 years working on a mixture of residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects in the Edmonton area. Having worked with PCL Construction, Engelman Homes, Richlyn Custom Homes, and Honomobo, he brings a wealth of construction experience to the table particularly in the area of custom home builds. As one of our Site Superintendents, Riley is responsible for overseeing the completion of our infill projects.
Alex Salaman, Site Superintendent
Alex has accrued over 20 years of construction-related experience from having worked across the country on a variety of builds ranging from condos to an RCMP detachment. He was headhunted by Copperblock for his multidimensional skillset and extensive working knowledge in areas including site management, budget control, quality control, green building, and LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards.

Julie Darcy-Morris, Interior Design Principal
With over 30 years in interior design, construction, and management Julie leads the design team. An intimate knowledge of building costs ensures that the budget and design is on point. Julie’s expertise is in residential renovations and building, and her projects have been featured in many publications and programs.
